Suvarna TV to air comedy serial ‘Paduvaralli Paddegalu’ from 25 April
Suvarna TV will start airing this 25 April onwards a daily comedy serial 'Paduvaralli Paddegalu' (PP) during the 10.30 pm primetime slot.
PP is being directed by actor Master Anand who had earlier done SSLC Nan Maklu, which ran for over two years on Suvarna TV.
"Comedy has been missing on Suvarna for sometime now, a must area to be addressed as a family entertainment channel. After watching different genre of programs including reality and sentiment rich fictions, viewers prefer to end the day on a lighter note. SSLC Nan Maklu used to do extremely well," says Suvarna TV Business Head Anup Chandrashekharan.
Set on a semi-urban backdrop, the serial explores humor side of few jobless youngsters' day to day life. "While most of the ongoing comedies are city and family centric, Paduvaralli Paddegalu, as the name suggests, is set in the small town milieu. Our last production has given us good understanding on kind of comedy that Kannada viewers are looking for, the new series will surely meet the expectations," says director Master Anand.
