A full-fledged probe was on into two cases pertaining to threats received by AIADMK chief Jayalalithaa and her party-backed Jaya TV, the police said today.

These appeared to be the handiwork of some persons who wanted to "deliberately create controversy, by issuing such threats", City Police Commissioner's office said in a release here.
