TRT Tamil Olli radio from Paris, France - which is the first 24 H Tamil radio station in Europe started on Pongal day in 1997, ended its normal schedule of programmes in April due to the corona (COVID-19) crisis in France. The web- and satellite transmission was replaced by non-stop music and main news broadcast and some recorded programmes.

The Kerala State Government has recently announced online classes for Class 1 to Class 12 (except Class 11) which will be accessible to students through the Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE) Victers channel. The online classes will be available through live stream on the official KITE Victers channel that falls under the State General Education Department. The sessions have been organised to make sure that students in Kerala do not miss out on the classes due to the current lockdown situation in the country.
After a two-month break, the serials of ZEE Keralam are starting afresh with new content. The seven serials that were already running successfully in the channel will start its telecast from 1 June onwards.
