zeetvTitled ‘Fear Files: Har Mod Pe Darr’, the show will air every Saturday and Sunday at 10.30 pm starting 25 April.
While the first season of the show used a different kind of narrative, attention to detail, and a mixture of first-hand testimony and gritty realism to uncover the truth behind some of the most baffling incidents from across the country, the second season will approach fear from a different perspective.

The idea behind this season is that you can run but you cannot hide because fear can haunt you in every step you take! The show will not be just about ghosts and gore but stories that tap into fears lurking in the audience’s subconscious. In an interesting move, the channel has roped in four different production houses including BBC Worldwide India, Bodhi Tree Productions, Shree Jagganaath Entertainment, and ZEEL’s own content engine Essel Vision Productions.

As of now, the show has been planned for 52 episodes, or six months, with all four production houses working on separate themes. “We have separated the themes and made sure that each story is properly researched, which is why we commissioned four production houses,” Zee TV business head Pradeep Hejmadi said.
Regarding the themes, he added, “We have maintained authenticity through themes that one could relate to easily. The stories will have a strong connect with the viewers.” The show will narrate mystifying stories that defy explanation, evoking a sense of ‘this could happen to you’. ‘Fear Files’ will explore the psychology of fear. While Essel Vision will explore the theme of possessed objects from everyday life, BBC will introduce an all-new genre of chronicles of love with a twist of horror.

Shri Jagganaath Entertainment’s stories will investigate the dark truth behind haunted places. Bodhi Tree Productions will present episodes that will demystify myths and superstitions, delve into the occult and other mysterious phenomena.
