Star's Kannada offering Suvarna will be airing a reverse sequel of its very popular Pyte Hudigir Halli Lifu (City Girl Village Life). The one-hour show will be aired from Monday to Friday at 8 pm from 23 August. The new show is 'Halli Hyda Pyeteg Banda' (Tribal lad has come to the city).

Unlike the previous show which had 10 city girls roughing it out in the village, the new reality show will have eight tribal boys coming to the city with eight city girls as trainers and guides. Suvarana has planned 40-50 episodes over a eight-ten week span.

To rake in audience interest and connect with 'Halli Hyda Pyeteg Banda' four of the participants from 'Pyte Hudigir Halli Lifu' will be among the guides for the tribal boys. Suvarna has roped in two time Filmfare award winner Radhika Pandith as the main anchor and judge for the show and noted dancer and actor Akul Balaji as the episode anchor.
