Sun Network's Telugu offering Gemini TV announced that it will be airing a new soap from the Balaji Telefilms stable

'Kannavaari Kalalu' is a story of two boys, friends who grew up together, their families and the relationship that develop with time. There is also a third family, neighbours of one of the friends.

Among the cast of 'Kannavaari Kalalu' are Vamsee and Swathi, the male and the female leads, television and film actresses Subhalekha Sudhakar, Priya and Rajasri Nair, the female lead of Nagesh Kukonoor's 1998 movie 'Hyderabad Blues'.
