ATN Sikh channel is the first broadcasting channel of its kind in the world broadcasting Sikh religious and cultural shows round the clock across the world. Sikh channel has managed to fill a huge void within the world of television, being the first channel to focus upon the essence of the Sikh faith, providing a platform for Sikhs and non-Sikhs alike.

Maa TV partners with Amagi to launch customised channel feeds to Singapore

maatvIndia's Telugu language Maa Television Network is using Amagi's localisation platform for creating customised local feeds to Singapore for its "Maa TV" and "Maa Movies" channels claims Bangalore headquartered Amagi Media Labs.
Maa TV has gone live with custom feeds on SingTel mio TV since April, 2013. Maa TV network uses its existing satellite feed playout for India as the base feed for Singapore as well, but masks few hours of programming and all advertising everyday on its feed to Singapore using Amagi's localisation platform.

TV9, SunTV deny that there is any talk of a sale

suntvIt seemed like a juicy development. And it appeared to be factual because it was being published in one of the few publications, which has some credibility left - The Hindu Business Line. Sun TV is acquiring TV9 for Rs 150 cr, read the headline.
Now the Sun TV group, venture capitalist Srini Raju who owns a majority stake in ABCL (the holding company of the TV9 channels) and TV9 have come out vociferously against the report.

Asianet to air reality show 'Stars' with TV actors as participants

asianetThe Star Networks Malayalam offering Asianet will start airing a new daily reality one hour show Stars that has male and female actors from the small screen as participant starting 22 July. The reality show will see five teams with five members in each team competing against one other.
