Chutti TV acquires rights for 3D animated series 'Little Krishna'
Sun TV Network's Tamil kids channel Chutti TV has taken the rights for 3D computer-animated series 'Little Krishna', a co-creation between Big Animation and India Heritage Foundation, promoted by Iskcon Bangalore.
The channel will host a two-day carnival on 23 and 24 February at Kumararani Meena Muthiah College of Arts and Science, Adyar. Games and entertainment centered on the life of Lord Krishna will be the attraction of this fun festival.

Big CBS Prime launches Hindi feed
Big CBS Prime, an English male-targeted entertainment channel owned by Reliance Broadcast Network (RBNL) and CBS Studios International, is launching a Hindi feed to widen its reach.
With this launch, Big CBS Prime becomes the only international English GEC with a multi-lingual feed. It will help Big CBS Network play in the Hindi-speaking market (HSM), which has higher advertising potential.
Pondicherry University Community Radio station bags National Award
'Puduvai Vaani', the five-year old Community Radio Station of Pondicherry Central University, has bagged the first prize at the national level for its thematic performance entitled 'Ungalai Thedi' (in search of you).
A release from the University said today Information and Broadcasting Minister Manish Tewari presented the award to the Program Executive of Puduvai Vaani Saleema Rabiyath at the concluding day of the third National Community Radio Sammelan held in New Delhi recently.

Deepam TV has started on Eurobird 9A
The London-based Tamil general entertainment channel, Deepam TV, has started on Eurobird 9A (9 degree East): 11727, Vertical, SR 27500 abd fec 3/4 - free-to-air.
Deepam TV was started on 11th June 2000 as the 2nd Tamil TV-channel in Europe. It quickly became a popular channel among viewers due to good programmes from Sun TV and a good transmission quality. But after the launch of Sun TV channels and other Indian Tamil channels in Europe, Deepam TV tried with older programmes from Jaya TV, Raj TV, Vijay TV and Polimer TV.
Raj TV gets board nod for international subsidiary
The Board of Directors of Raj Television Network has approved the opening of subsidiary or branch offices in US and European markets and other Asian Countries.
The board has also authorised the Raj TV MD M Rajhendharan to explore the various opportunities and avenues for fund raising plans to cater to the ambitious growth plans of the company.
Raj Television Network has posted a standalone net profit of Rs 32.4 million for the quarter ended 31 December compared to Rs 20.5 million in the same quarter of previous fiscal.
