A new Sinhala TV-channel, called Colombo TV, is currently testing free-to-air in Europe and in Asia. In Europe it has started on Eutelsat Hotbird (13 degree East): 11471, V, SR 27500 and fec 5/6, and in Asia it has started on AsiaSat 5 (100.5 degree East): 3960, H, SR 30000 and fec 5/6. Recently Sri Lankan Sinhalese national channel, Rupavahini started free-to-air on Eutelsat Hotbird (13 degree East) in Europe too.

On AsiaSat on the same frequency another Sinhala channel, called STN Lanka (SRI TV), is available. For more informations about this channel, their number is: 0094 115 974 975.
