The Star Network's Kannada GEC offering, Suvarana TV, will begin airing a daily fiction soap on the paranormal called 'Nagapanchmi'. The show will run Monday to Friday at 6 pm, starting 6 February.
The show is an aggressive and youthful story of love and revenge with lots of emotion and drama. The story revolves around para-normal phenomena. The special effects for Nagapanchmi have been conceptualised and executed by Yunus Buquari, who has worked for Bollywood blockbuster movies like 'Krish' and 'Koi Mil Gaya' among others.
Umesh Ray, who earlier did a popular show 'Sindoora' on Suvarna, is the producer of Nagapanchmi.
Vignesh Rao, the director of the show, said: "Nagapanchami is the first show in Kannada television industry which has 3D created computer graphics and many more 3D special effects. The show has been shot in ancient ruined temples of Harur in Mandya district to ensure realistic look and feel for the show."
