Maa TV to air 10 UTV blockbusters in Telugu
Breaking the language barrier, 10 blockbuster films from the UTV Motion Pictures are going down south.The movie production studio has syndicated these films to Telugu entertainment channel Maa TV, which will air these movies dubbed in Telugu.
Tamil 24 TV to end test transmission soon
Tamil 24 Televison is going to end test transmission on 31-10-2010, and will show a testcard on Eurobird 9A satellite on 9 degree East from November. But don't worry - this does not mean that the channel has gone forever. Tamil 24 Television will be back on 14th January 2011, and it will be launched officially on this day with regular programmes.
Discovery Channel offers Telugu feed
Discovery Channel, the flagship network of Discovery Communications, on Wednesday announced the launch of its new Telugu feed targeting viewers in Andhra Pradesh, barely eight months since it launched the Tamil version.
The Telugu feed is now available from 6 p.m. till midnight every day, with all programmes and their airing schedule remaining the same as the English, Hindi and Tamil feeds.
Vijay TV to air 16 episodes on Yuvan Shankar Raja
Vijay TV will be airing a 4-week, 16 episode serial on Yuvan Shankar Raja (Yuvan) as a run-up to a live concert at Chennai.
Each half-hour episode will be broadcast Monday to Thursday at 10.30 pm. The creatives and the production of the series will be by Vijay TV.

TRT Tamil Oli to broadcast Sinhala programmes
The first 24 H Tamil radio in Europe, TRT Tamil Oli, is going to broadcast Sinhala programmes. The Sinhala block will be broadcasted on TRT Tamil Oli daily from 18.15 to 19.00 CET.
The programme will be produced by Pawura Radio, which is a Sinhala webradio from UK. The programmes will be about heritage, cooking tips, nature, culture etc.
