In line with its plan to create and retain the IP of shows, UTV Television has registered a kids fun-cum-learning game show format, Spell Champ.The TV content company has also started the production of the show for Sun TV Network's Tamil kids channel, Chutti TV.

Saregama strengthens its South TV presence
Production studio Saregama India Limited (Saregama) has now taken its association with the Sun Network to Kerala. Saregama's new game show Mummy and Me will begin airing on Sun's Malayalam channel Surya starting 25 September.
Vijay TV launches game show
Vijay TV has launched a new gameshow, Kadhal Meter (Love Meter), that will air every Friday and Saturday at 10 pm.The channel has roped in Ideal Cookware & Appliances as the title sponsor.
Kadal Meter gives the viewers an opportunity to get up close and personal with celebrity couples and get to know their compatibility quotient. It is a game show comprising celebrity couples from the television industry, mainly from South India.

Sun TV is going to show an interview with actress Asin tomorrow as a part of the special programming regarding Ganesh chaudhary. Tamil associations and Tamil film industry decided to boycott Asin because this lady visited a Tamil refugees camp in Sri Lanka with the wife of the Sri Lankan president, who is responsible for war crimes.
